Previa Collision Catalog with OEM part numbers!

Postby timsrv on Mon Jul 03, 2006 1:58 am

Hi, I purchased an old collision catalog & although not all parts are found within, there are many parts that
are. I have found these pages very informative and thought I'd share with you guys. Sorry about making you
sidescroll to view, I tried 640w versions, but the print was too small to read. I hope these are helpfull. Tim

For more part numbers, get your VIN number and type it in on THIS SITE. ToyoDIY.com is an on-line version of Toyota's Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), and will work for any Toyota vehicle. Tim

Hi,

This was a bit of a find. Is there any chance you could re-scan the part on the floor pan, which didn't come out except for three part numbers, at least on what my computer down loaded. I would particularly like to get a diagram of the floor as we are thinking of moving the middle seats back a few inches and I would like to know the best place to bolt them. We have no kids, have removed the rear seats and want to make a spacious cruiser.

Thanks

Brent

Hi again Kakariki,
You've probably already seen it but in the 'hello' thread Tim has a few pix of the bare interior of one of his many Previas that may also help you.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but don't think rescanning will help. I can clearly see all part numbers in this scanned version. I can manually enter the part numbers in a post for you if you like. Just say the word. Tim

Thanks for the offer. Actually I sent my request to 3 other forums and the Toyota importers here in NZ. The importers amazingly came through and e-mailed a collision diagram for the chassis and floor. I honestly thought I was just going through the motions in contacting them. I was most impressed that they would help out the little guy. You were the only forum to offer help. Pretty incredible the number of Previas still on the road in you guys' big countries, I thought it was only in left-over economies like ours that people hung onto their old vehicles. We got this model because of the amount of interior space, general good looks and reputation for reliability.

Cheerio,

Brent.

Hey, in case you guys want a digital copy of this for your own, or want to easily print it out, I've uploaded a pdf version here:
http://www.2sh ared.com/file/4420574/70119a77/PreviaCollisionCat.html

EDIT- I broke the link apart because it was stupid, but left it in two pieces in case it's your last hope and the other link goes down or something.

Thanks for your efforts, but that site sucks! I clicked on your link and got nothing but a bunch of pop-ups. Excuse me now while I go clean the crap out of my computer. Tim

 I've no pop-ups.. Sorry about that. You're probably just using IE5 or something! :P I'll see if I can find a better site:

I like that site a lot better. Thanks. I still got one pop-up blocked when I entered, but that's as far as it got. When I went to that other site my pop-up blocker was going nuts. After I closed all my windows there was crap all over my desktop for college degrees and what not. I'd click them off and another would pop up. I wonder what the business philosophy of that is. Piss your potential customers off to the point they buy your products? There's got to be an angle I'm just not seeing. Tim

There are several different places to purchase. Having your own part numbers can help avoid confusion. If you got lots of money, you can purchase at your local stealership, or you can purchase on-line through a discount Toyota parts outlet. I prefer Ron Tonkin Toyota in Portland Oregon as their on-line prices are good, they are close to me, and there is no tax due to it being an out-of-state sale. Tim
